Earn CE Credit for Completing Advanced CPR Courses
Even though the ARRT stopped accepting credit for basic CPR in 2007, you still can claim up to 6 Category A credits for completing any advanced CPR course, including advanced cardiac life support, pediatric life support, instructor or instructor training courses. If you’ve taken one or more of these courses, photocopy both sides of your advanced CPR certification card and submit your credits to the ASRT. Although this can be a great boost to your CE record, remember that you may claim credit for each advanced CPR training only once per biennium, even if you are certified annually. Let us know if you have any questions.
